Mr. Grubbs began his career in 2001 and has served over 100 Texas School Districts as Financial Advisor.  The clients served represent the entire landscape of Texas school finance including Chapter 42 and Chapter 49 districts, fast growing and stable districts, and suburban and rural districts.   Geographically, the districts range from Amarillo ISD to Calhoun County ISD, from Andrews ISD to Longview ISD and from Dallas area to Houston area districts.

His expertise includes bond election strategy and coordination, quantitative financial analysis for single and multi-year capital improvement plans and includes the issuance of all types of financings (i.e. general obligation bonds, revenue bonds, Qualified Zone Academy Bonds, Qualified School Construction Bonds, Build America Bonds, contractual obligations, lease revenue bonds, maintenance tax notes, delinquent tax notes, tax anticipation notes, escrow swaps, cash defeasances, refinancings and restructurings).  In addition, Mr. Grubbs has expertise in analyzing all aspects of Chapter 42 and Chapter 49 school district finance including the Instructional Facilities Allotment and Existing Debt Allotment programs.

Mr. Grubbs is a graduate of Texas A&M University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biomedical Science.  In addition, he obtained a Master of Business Administration degree from Hardin-Simmons University. His licenses include Series 7 (General Securities), Series 63 (Uniform Securities Agency State Law), and Municipal Advisor Representative (Series 50).
